Book Distribution
We offer free book distribution all throughout Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, and Caroline. Whether at schools, community events, or local businesses/organizations, we bring books for all ages to you! Between August of 2022 and August of 2023, we distributed over 15,500 free books and attended more than 120 events. Schedule your event with us today!
Literacy Campaigns
In November of 2022, we launched the “Fredericksburg Reads!” literacy campaign to encourage students to read and write outside of the classroom. We challenge elementary school students to read for 30 minutes a day and complete writing prompts for a set number of days over a month-long period with the goal of fostering a love of reading and writing and an understanding of the importance of literacy.

Resources for Teachers
Bookmobile Fredericksburg aims to support teachers and educators in whatever ways we can. Currently, we have over 120 collections of books available to reserve for your class, with enough copies of each text so that every student can read along. Check out our selection below.

Storytelling & Reading
We have volunteers on call to bring stories to your school or community organization. We offer reading services to help expose students to stories and books from around the world. Contact us to learn how we can bring our reading services to you!
